Driving school fee going up

Due to the gas prices we are forced to raise our fee to $329.00 for the complete driving package.  We still have the lowest price driving school in the state of Arizona.  This goes into effect Saturday May 28th 2011.  If you find any other school that is lower than us we will match and beat their price.  You can always find coupons online.  You must sign up for the program on our website for the coupons to work.  Most coupons are advertised on google and our facebook page.

Thank you for your understanding

New Rules for the MVD #2

So I have talked with the MVD of Arizona and they have confirmed the new rule.  All Driving schools in the state of Arizona will have 20 percent of their Students randomly tested  for either the Permit test or the Skill test even though the student passed a certified driving school.  We recommend that if a student is randomly selected and don’t feel comfortable taking the test with the MVD that they leave the MVD and CALL stop and go driving school.  Stop and Go will schedule another driving lesson free of charge to practice the exact MVD test.  Stop and Go will take the student to the MVD with the Company vehicle to preform the Skill test.   So far Stop and Go has taken 4 students to the MVD and all four passed and received their Arizona Driving License.  If you have any question please call  our main office at 602-896-9606.

Thank you for your understanding in this matter.

MVD New Rules

On May 9 2011 the MVD of Arizona decided to randomly test twenty percent of all students for the driving test even though the student has passed a certified drivers education course and received a certificate of completion. The certificate of completion is suppose to exempt a student from having to take the road test at the MVD The Mvd gave absolutely no warning about this change in their protocol. I will keep you informed.

Reminder about summer time

I talked last year about maintenance on your car during the HOT summer months. Remember to check air pressure. When it gets really hot your tire expands and the air pressure goes down. Also your Coolant needs to be checked every 2-3 weeks depending on how many times you drive in a week. Be safe out there and remember to always head check when you changing lanes.

Road rage

Since the economy is bad people seem to be more irritable. I have noticed a lot more road rage in the valley. Remember try to ignore the other car and keep driving . If the car keeps following you find a police department or policeman. The police have to have witnesses in order to arrest a road rager. Remember leave your eggo at home, there are a lot of crazy drivers and nobody wants to get shot or hit over being right.

Traffic Cameras

Remember to always follow the posted speed limit.  There are a number of new speeding cameras on the freeways and highways.  Remember to Scan ahead a far as you can to see up coming hazards.  Maintain a two to three second following distance to avoid accidents.  This information will help you to drive more safe.
